Develop a collaborative and innovative
culture by creating Psychological Safety
Business-building innovation can only exist when your people feel respected and included in their environment. Our Psychological Safety workshops enable you to build an open, trusting culture that gets the best out of your transformational talent.
What is Psychological Safety in the Workplace?
Everyone wants to feel safe, seen, heard, and respected. It can be easy to forget how important these things are in the high-pressure environment of the workplace, but without them, your people will feel anxious and excluded, and struggle to perform to their peak capability.
Psychological Safety is a four-pillar process that allows businesses to understand if their work culture is truly inclusive and get on the right track if it isn’t.
How Psychological Safety
builds your business
Minimise mistakes
Maximise opportunities
Feelings of exclusion sap confidence, create low engagement levels, and can lead to missed opportunities and potentially damaging errors. Build your people’s self-belief and give them the knowledge and resilience they need to excel in even the most challenging of tasks.
Encourage contribution,
challenge, and new ideas
Contributing new ideas is necessary for innovation, but it requires individual vulnerability, bravery, and risk on the part of your team. Get more from your people by offering them the trusting environment they need to experiment with fresh thinking.
Create accountability
and let your leaders lead
Leadership demands accountability and accountability requires freedom. Let your best talent shine and emerging leaders stand out by building an open working culture that trusts people to deliver their best work within a safe environment.
Improving teamwork through self-awareness
Creating Dynamic was hired to work with key individuals at a technology company and help them tap into their full potential.
Through frameworks such as Psychological Safety in the Workplace, we were able to work with the senior leadership team to deliver company-wide workshops that encouraged their people to understand their strengths and areas for growth and deliver their very best at work, day-in, day-out.
A clear process
designed for efficiency
We get the ball rolling with a strategic consultation session. Held with your C-suite or senior leadership team, this session is designed to help us get to grips with your goals and challenges in developing your culture, and how the Psychological Safety approach can help. By undertaking the four-stage framework, you get clarity on the process and we can outline a clear, actionable strategy.
We deliver a single session about Psychological Safety, during which we outline the concept and its four core pillars, and ask participants to discuss it as a group. The workshop is designed to provoke conversation and honest self-analysis: of the company culture and how individuals and teams are contributing to it. At the end of the session, participants are given literature to read and develop their understanding of the Psychological Safety structure.
The introductory session is just that: a starting point that can help you transform your company culture. As part of the process, we recommend a senior leadership session to help the team embed the framework and continue to develop their knowledge of Psychological Safety. By doing this, we can help further guide the conversation and unblock the difficulties that are leading to a lack of ownership, challenge, innovation, and psychological safety.
Self-reflection is critical to any development process – and we’re big believers in practicing what we preach. At pre-agreed milestones, we work with the C-suite or senior leadership team to receieve feedback, report on progress and review development against the set goals. This helps us anticipate changing circumstances, adapt to your needs, and deliver the best results possible. What your people will learn
